The lonely photon is now king of the universe as the last of the supermassive black holes evaporate.After all the black holes have evaporated (and after all the ordinary matter made of protons has disintegrated, if protons are unstable), the universe will be nearly empty. Photons, neutrinos, electrons, and positrons will fly from place to place, hardly ever encountering each other.By this era, with only very diffuse matter remaining, activity in the universe will have tailed off dramatically (compared with previous eras), with very low energy levels and very large time scales. Electrons and positrons drifting through space will encounter one another and occasionally form positronium atoms. These structures are unstable, however, and their constituent particles must eventually annihilate.[4], §VF3. Other low-level annihilation events will also take place, albeit very slowly.The universe now reaches an extremely low-energy state. What happens after this is speculative. It's possible that a Big Rip event may occur far off into the future. Also, the universe may enter a second inflationary epoch, or, assuming that the current vacuum state is a false vacuum, the vacuum may decay into a lower-energy state.[4], §VE. Finally, the universe may settle into this state forever, achieving true heat death.[4], §VID.

Niste cercetatori speculau cu privire la formele de viata care ar putea exista intr-un astfel de mediu precum cel prezentat mai sus. In "Era Neagra", ideea de foame ar putea fi procesata in milioane de ani, de fapt ideile isi pierd cursivitatea temporala, sensul, motivatia. E ca si cum ai gandi in "slow motion" la infinit, e ca si cum ai fi o piatra care creste. O piatra care isi simte propria crestere in greutate... nu ma indoiesc de faptul ca s-ar gasi si intr-un astfel de mediu jivin o forma de viata destul de retardata(oamenii de exemplu) care sa se adapteze la mediu. Mereu se gasesc "dastepti" d-astia care sa faca pe dracu-n patru doar pentru "mentinerea si multiplicarea speciei". In caminele studentesti e lege: oricat ai incerca e imposibil sa scapi de gandaci. In antarctica iar e lege printre pinguini: oricat ai da din cioc e imposibil sa scapi de oameni. Unele specii rezista,altele nu. Victorii sau infrangeri provizorii. Prostia domneste.

Fotonii, neutronii, electronii singuratici calatoresc absurd mii de ani pana sa gaseasca un semen la fel de spiralat. La zero absolut viata e grea chiar si cu vodka. Viata e la fel de grea ca in piesele alea rep de cacat despre ghettouri. Plictiseala este infinita ca un blocaj in traficul bucurestean. O sa fie mai rau ca pe Calea 13 septembrie.

O forma extrem de lenta de prostie va domni in spatiu. Chiar ii trebuie universului miliarde si miliarde de ani sa isi dea seama ca totul este de fapt o imensa si incomensurabila prostie??
